[DIY] Pulling wire out of roll

 

I have been getting 250-foot rolls of 12/2 to run in buildings and I seem to have a small problem.  I want to keep the wire flat (that is, not twisting around) but when i pull the wire out of the coil, it becomes twisted.  I usually pull it out of the center so I can keep the roll together in a coil, but I think that is what is causing the problem.  If I take it from the outside of the roll, I have to unwrap it and it'll get really tangled. 
 
Has anyone solved this problem?
