Since we live in a hot area (Florida) and I like to wear sandals, I also like to wear toenail polish. But I don't wear fingernail polish, I stopped that years ago, because no matter how hard I tried to "look beautiful," the polish kept chipping. Finally in m "older" age, I decided to just leave my nails au naturel. Although now that you mention it, I REALLY NEED to be careful when applying it now since I just got new carpeting. :-( Cindi

I don't see why not Steph, just attempting to do a small area might give you a problem but sanding it down - maybe a little patch then using a primer and painting should give you a new wall.
I spilled some on the hood of my new corvette back in my younger days, and without thinking just grabbed a tissue and wiped it off ----- along with all the paint. Was an expensive repair and DH was not happy with me. And in my not so young days I spilled nail polish remover in the bathroom and it took the stain off the bottom of the closet door along with the finish on about a foot of baseboard. Nothing has worked there so I'm going to have to sand that whole area and try to restain the wood. I could also tell you why I keep a scarf over the coffee table, LOL. Ah, vanity, I feel naked without color on my fingers and toes. Now you've got me wondering where that started? Who would have thought of painting their finger nail - much less their toe nails???

Kid knocked a bottle of bright pink nail polish off the cabinet above the toilet. I was able to use nail polish remover to get it off of the vinyl floor, but there is tile board on the walls. It looks basically painted. I would say it had to previously have a coat of primer and paint to make it look the way it does.
Question is, can I just sand down the peeled spots and primer and paint again? That nail polish ate the paint away on the tile board and the door. That is some bad stuff. Can't believe us women put that on our finger nails. Phew!
Thanks in advance for the help!
