The writing and being able to tell the story with a pleasing style is a gift.
I have written several books but they were all aimed at a limited market.
" My Old Straw Hat", a chronicle of poems and stories including my take as a child on The War Years.
"41 For Freedom" This was my account of the launching and my 6 patrols on the Nathanael Greene SSBN 636. The 41 refers to the 41 of these Fleet Ballistic Missile submarines that were built and manned from 1960 through the collapse of the Soviet Union.
"The Myth" Is a small booklet that covers some of my research and impressions into the Fun House called Wal-Mart.
Last but not least is "Patty" which is the sad but true in depth story of a local lady who had thought she had been abandoned along with her 4 siblings by her mother only to learn through my research into her story that she had been the victim of a grand and hateful lie. I had promised to write her story and was really reluctant to give her the manuscript copy of what I had learned in the process, however much to her honor she was glad to finally learn the truth.
My old straw hat and 41 for freedom were published through Publish America and the others were published by I-Proclaim a sub-division of Dorrence Publishing.
One other "The Lamp" is also published by Dorrence and is a family history. Several of these were published under an alias.

I bet you could analyze and summarize a turtle marathon and make it seem interesting
