[DIY] Basement/sill plate

 

Would really appreciate your thoughts on this topic.

My partially finished partial basement is quite old and "crusty". I really don't want to have to clean it, including the sump. I also see the sill plate(?) is poorly covered with fiberglass insulation. I would really like to get this basement cleared out and simply inspected and shiny and energy efficient all at the same time by same people. Is there anyone?
