[DIY] Re: electrical punch outs

 

For single plugs, you need a hole 1 3/8" in diameter. The cheapest way is to buy a hole saw (bi metal). Alternately, you could get an electrical knock-out punch for 1" conduit. You will need to make a 7/8" hole first to use the knock-out punch (the 1" size has a large bolt). Any big box store for the hole saw or EBAY for the knock-out punch.
