A friend of ours, and also our son, installed that gorgeous carbonized bamboo flooring.
Lessons learned:
It scratches very easily.
It dents very easily.
Rolling chairs, high heel shoes, accidentally moved the couch, slid a cardboard carton, sand got into the house,......
Don't know anything about cork flooring for comparison. Personally, if you like wood, go with hard wood (solid not laminate).

I know the question of the century. Live in new mobile home in a dry area (over volcanic rock). leaning towards cork (stone look pattern) for the temperature neutral and antiallergic properties. but then i like the look of the light and dark stranded carbonized bamboo. have a cat and ruling chairs.
