First, if you have a yard that's anything but small, get a gas powered. The electrics are good for small yards only. I have one and it's a little on the weak side. In fact, if I go too long between cuts, I have to mow it twice - once at high level, once at the height I want it. I now have someone else come and do the mowing.

Subject: [DIY] Electric mowers
Would anyone have any ideas, thoughts, suggestions on a brand of electric mower?
I looked at Sears this afternoon & they have a B&D for $151, but I don't think that is going to last me.
There was another gas mower w/electric start that looked good. It is self=propelled.
I would love any feedback.
Thanks
