> When we added a 5 foot chain
link fence to the read portion of our property we left a three
foot walking path between our fence and theirs and even though
this strip is totally on our land it again was a courtesy
gesture that has delivered dividends.
FENCE LINES:
- none-the-less-
Block this every 20 yrs or it becomes Public Domain.
THEY may never, but the city could. ESP if it becomes
a shortcut. Maybe add a sign. "Permission to Pass, Revocable."
Ought to be able to buy these from any good fence supply co.
No gots? "Then Order me one, please."
GROUT COLOR:
Match? ok. Also a bore. And MANY are learning & using contrasting
grout colors. you'd thiMk, UGLY. Done several & in the end, it is liked.
THEIR IDEA, BTW. Often this is in a kitchen!
Also use the green bottle TileLab sealer, when grout is new.
FAR superior, which makes for less labor. Mebe 4x the price,
so mebe $20 instead of $5. Penny-wise & Pound-foolish to
use a dif one, IMO. Labor is the thing here, after effectiveness.
You won't need that ever-said, 2nd coat. Lasts "up to" 20 yrs,
versus 1 yr or 6 mo. I would seal after a year, then ea 5.
Pressure Washers.
The $100 Huskies are cheap junk.
They don't last. But they clean light stuff off sidewalks.
No matter HOW slow you go (!!!) they will never match what
a rented 35600 psi unit does in "seconds." So a cheap one,
you can justify, but understand it's limits!
