[DIY] Re low flow toilets

When we lived on the farm we used enzyme tablets but not sure that would take care of your problem.   The big stores don't carry them in stock but the old style toilets are still being made and they could order one.  I don't know exactly how the low flow flush works but a good handyman might be able to override the low water option, I know when ours gets stuck it runs constantly till you adjustthe lid.

Our Habitat has a ton of the old style for $25 each.  You might let a plumber know you want one and he could save them when he is replacing with the newer ones.  A big plumbers supply should be able to get one for you too.  They might also have suggestions for avoiding future problems. We used special paper in our RV unit, made to dissolve instantly…you might try that.  Vinegar and baking soda followed by hot water are always a good standby if it isn't too bad.
