Hi Joyce;
Unfortunately, it is too late to do anything with the old group email
achieve. YahooGroups extended the times for those who missed
the first deadline. All of the old emails have now been deleted.
I recommend that each person who wants to, simply save the
posts they feel they might want to reread in the future. We all
have a lot of storage on our conputers, and emails take up
virtually no space. Google even stores them in the cloud.
Now.......I just had a new idea which I might try for my
LittleHouses and WoodGas groups. It is, while keeping the
YahooGroups that everyone is already signed up for, to set
up a GoogleGroup that has a subscription to the YahooGroup.
That way the YahooGroup will send emails to the GoogleGroup,
where they will be stores with a search function. However, this
may not work, due to some quirk in the way the Google signup
functions, but if it does, it might be an easy way to regain the
email archive function that YahooGroups has eliminated.
But, regardless, my YahooGroups (and this group, too)
seem to be functioning fine, as is. The important factor
is that people are posting to the group.
