RE: [DIY] I broke my Truck

I have had drum brakes lock up just like this. But I am sure that this truck has discs on the front. Have never had a disc lock up.

I don't think it's the brakes, because the wheels rotate when driving backwards.

Water expands when it freezes. Might be enough to engage the brakes. A torch on the brake lines might help free it up if that is what it is. The goal is just to warm up the brake fluid to above freezing, not melt the brake lines.
I would guess its temperature related, whatever it is.

Last week I warmed up my 1991 F150, cleaned the snow off the windows,
and as I was starting to drive away, I heard a cracking/poping noise I
thought were the tires breaking loose from the ice. Well it wasn't. The
front wheels are locked and will not rotate. They do move when I put
drive in reverse. I had the hubs locked and in high 4x4. The front
wheels won't move regardless what gear it's in. But they do rotate if I
drive backwards.

Any thoughts?
