Speaking of engine problems.
Troybilt riding mower, hard to start.
Crank it long enough and it might start (or might just drain
the battery).
A shot of ether helps it start faster, and once warmed up
it starts fine. Let it sit for a day or two and its
back to very hard to start.
Simple carbs on these, I suspect a spray can of carb cleaner,
especially trying to clean any idle jets?
Replacing spark plug probably a good idea as well, though
since it starts with ether and runs ok, suspecting the cold start
circuit.
Any other suggestions?
