its a above ground pool, about 25 feet to breaker box, needs timer and it only has to run the filter/pump..being single mom, I don't want them to say 1000 dollars for a 500 dollar job..thanks

There are a lot of variables to consider. How far from the panel to pool equipment (not the actual pool)?
Are we talking about an above ground pool or in-ground? 1 or 2 motors (2nd motor for a skimmer)?
Brand of existing panel and are spaces available (is it FPE or Zinsco)?
Do you need timers?
