Well, that friend in Nigeria has to get in line behind my wife who was mugged in London and lost her passport and all her money. Fortunately she was able to send out an email appealing for loans to pay for her trip home.

Al Gore never claimed to "invent" the internet. I believe his claim was to help create the internet commercially via legislation.
...but hey someone stated that he "invented it" in some sort of mass Forward email, so it must be true. BTW, there is a friend in Nigeria who needs us to send them some money.
