Re: [DIY] Wire repair fixed.

same thing happened to my Xantrax 3000 watt  solar controller,
inverter, charger system.. I married the RV electrical system
with the solar in a selective circuit crossover scenario with AGM
batteries, the solar panels, "shore" power and generator--which
is a 4 variable problem to organize electrically..upon first power
up there was an huge/very very loud pop..arcing sound..and I said
on s$#! ....killed the power and inspected all wiring...everything
correct and  grounded and polarized correctly...re-powered up
with my finger on a deadman switch and all was well...several
weeks later I found remnants of a charred mouse nest next to
the inverter xformer leads!!!  and yes...there was a little mousey
fryed I am sad to say..poor Mickey!!  LOL...so this was definitely
the same "cleared on testing"...

Rich and Kate- pumping 28 amps of solar on an good day!!

I think I wrote about this before..so pardon the duplicity...you
know you are getting old when you can't find your keys..
but you know you have Alzheimer when you don't know you
even have keys!! lol

Subject: [DIY] Wire repair fixed.

Somehow over the weekend, while checking out several possibilities that were mentioned by you guys, the problem corrected itself.  It might have been the removing and retightening of the ends of the wire that run from the main breaker box on the pole to the box inside the trailer.

I guess this is one of those we put under CWT: "Cleared While Testing".

THANKS for all your advice!
