I was thinking it would be okay to do so. I am going to do this while DH is at work. He over reacted and made a comment we would have to replace the tile board. LOL! I thought I would run it by the folks here before I did it. The door will have to wait until Spring. I can take that off and put it on saw horses. Much easier and can dry outside. Did I mention I do not have a fan in that bathroom? Phew! :)

I don't see why not Steph, just attempting to do a small area might give you a problem but sanding it down - maybe a little patch then using a primer and painting should give you a new wall.
I spilled some on the hood of my new corvette back in my younger days, and without thinking just grabbed a tissue and wiped it off ----- along with all the paint. Was an expensive repair and DH was not happy with me. And in my not so young days I spilled nail polish remover in the bathroom and it took the stain off the bottom of the closet door along with the finish on about a foot of baseboard. Nothing has worked there so I'm going to have to sand that whole area and try to restain the wood. I could also tell you why I keep a scarf over the coffee table, LOL. Ah, vanity, I feel naked without color on my fingers and toes. Now you've got me wondering where that started? Who would have thought of painting their finger nail - much less their toe nails???
