Surprising in this throw-away society? But proud of ya!
Had an old fuse box years ago that infrequently blew the 30-amp fuse to the water heater, and the fuse was always warm/ hot when heater heating. Finally, one day, I pulled the main, disassembled and cleaned every connection/ buss bar/ fuse socket screw, and surprise. cool fuse thereafter. Point being a bad connection a few inches away can transmit heat to other parts and also cause problems there
