I live in an area that has very high humidity. The only wood that stays straight is cedar. Everything else warps and splits within a year or two.

Subject: [DIY] Wood fence repair

My neighbor`s fence on my side has a lot of vertical wood slats to replace. The are warping and the nails are backing out. HD is having a sale on fence slats. Would a screw be better to put new slats up? It was a cheap fence to begin with.. Thanks group.
