My 16-year-old GE air conditioner blows air well but the air is not cold. Is it likely that it has lost its freon? I'm not familiar with current laws and practices on freon; maybe it can just be recharged?
It's below a window, in my upper floor condo so the outside is not accessible. Will the tech more likely pull the unit into the room, or remove the wide windowsill?
adTHANKSvance for any suggestions.
