Most DIY types should avoid real electrical work. It is life threatening.

computers been off line and haven't been able to keep up with the messages.
IF it's a capacitor,you might want to have the work done by a tech. a capacitor can hold a BIG charge for some time and could possible change your entire outlook on a short life if you become it't point of discharge.
there is a prescribed method of grounding one out before touching.
so i would be very careful if you DIY.
