Looking at it in daylight, there is a screw that goes up into the hole but has come loose. There does not seem to be a way to remove the screw. What we did before was put something sticky (joint compound?) into the hole and brace the foot up for a few days with a vertical tension rod. It held for 2-3 years, until my friend forgot my warnings not to pull the curtain back so that its whole weight is on the bad foot. He's tall so he gets to fix this, but neither of us has much experience, and I doubt my drill could drill concrete.

We think putting a suitable adhesive into the hole and bracing it again would work. What would people recommend? adTHANKSvance!
