We did this (option 2). It is currently braced up with a tension rod.
How long might it take for Liquid Nails (in a hole in concrete) to cure to maximum strength? The cylinder doesn't say. I'm not in a hurry to remove the brace, but at some point I'd like to find out how well this worked. adTHANKSvance!
