Re: [DIY] Cuckoo clock

Tyhe mechanisms spoken of are not pendulum activated. The are mechanical counting mechanisms, and are sensitive to vibration.

The timing should be set by adjusting the length of the pendulum and not the rumbling of a train.

I have an heirloom cuckoo clock that has been fine-tuned by a master at fixing clocks. The clock works very well now, except for 1 thing--we live about a block from a train track, which is used about every 1/2 hour. This constant motion interferes with the timing mechanism, so no matter how often we reset the time, within a few hours, the time is incorrect. Any idea as to how we can correct this?
