[DIY] Sticky rubber handles

 

I had a garden hose that I left out in the sun.  The hose became very sticky for its whole length.  The store just gave me another.

Now in the middle of a hot summer, the handles of my HF router have become very sticky.  HF is not going to give me another and I am not sure if I can buy any new handles.

Is there anything that I can do to remove the stickiness?
