Talked with them on their chat line, said that model cooks very hot, gave me a detailed way to check which was way over my head, LOL. He said just to call the service dept since it's under warranty. I don't know that anything is wrong, and before I file a claim I'd really like to know if there is a problem. The front burner, which we use the most is supposed to be 12,000 BTU. If you're frying chicken, it cooks it, but even on high it won't get good and brown - much less burn it as mentioned in the information. Hash browns cook, but won't get brown and crispy. I'm not sure there is a problem but it just doesn't cook like I expected.
