[DIY] Re: plumber

 

I'd have it roto rooted or similar to start with. The rooter operator should be able to tell just about where he hits the roots in the pipe, so you don't have to dig the whole pipe. Now dig down to the pipe in that area, remove the visible roots around the pipe, and refill the hole while adding lots of rock salt to the fill dirt around the area of the pipe where the roots got in. The salt will keep roots out of that area. Ed
