I don't know anything about the element, although the plumber mentioned it, but we've all done just about everything possible to check. There is only one line going to the DW and it's the hot water so can't see how it could get any cold water. If it was just a cold DW it should warm up when the hot water begins filling, as it is it doesn't even get to 90 Degrees inside till the 3rd fill. I'll check back once GE has made their determination. I know the plumbers probably joked about the crazy lady with the DW — but they weren't laughing yesterday :)
