Hate to sound so senile, we had this problem in town.  I can't remember the exact name of the product but we power washed the deck and this stuff goes on like Thomson's just a clear liquid.  Does give a fair protection from the moss and mold for a few years.  On the farm, we got a product from the local farm supply, we might have purchased this in Lowes.  Oft times the guys at the construction desk will have more knowledge over the regular clerks.  Also if you live near an MFA, Race Brothers, Tractor supply —you can ask them — or even check their website and make an e-mail contact.  They are very good to respond.

I have also read of a paint that has mildew preventing properties but can't remember if it was interior or exterior.  So much going on these days I can't keep it all straight in my mind, sorry.
