what I did was re-roll the paper last night going the opposite way from which the paper had originally been rolled. I think it's helping. Also-- the paper that I did wet down does have less of a crease, so maybe that will work. Thanks

It is possible the wallpaper paste will soften the paper, allowing it to flatten out.
