Thanks, everyone.  I replaced the blower line with the trimmer parts line.  It was a tough squeeze but that's always par for the course on fitting those lines.  I'm not sure if this would be approved but I rubbed a touch of 2-cycle oil around the line and that made it squeeze through gas container entry way much easier.  It started up and ran well.
