One thing I see is that the fuel filter in this kit is a different size and shape compared to the one in the trimmer.

I'm going to assume that this kit will not work....if that is correct then I'm curious why. Would the fuel line ID/OD in the kit be of a non-compatible size on a 31 cc engine?
