Silestone is basically a quartz...has it been resistant to heat..like putting a pan
just off the stove onto it? We have tile now for 20 uyears and been great...but always
fear that hot pot will crack one..never has (yet!) LOL
We are looking at new house with just installed Silestone and realtor thought it did
not do well with heat..but other stuff as you say
