What size is the frame? A large frame, such as a window screen frame will bend enough to allow for stretching. On a smaller frame, you would need a method to clamp an end and stretch the whole width at once. If that is the case, write back and I'll explain how it's done.

Set the ends of the frame on two 1 inch boards and clamp the middle, bending the frame. Staple securely across both ends. Use plenty of staples. Release the clamps. The screen will pull tight. Staple the sides.

I want to make jewelry displays using picture frames and hardware cloth.  I cannot figure out what to use to pull the hardware cloth taut and hold it.
