I looked at the liner prices and it would cost less to buy a new tray.  I can take a roller outside and using a garden hose make the roller spin very fast.  But this won't work in the winter and makes a real mess of the lawn.

It's meant for you to use so that you wouldn't have to clean your tray as much.
It's really up to you if you don't want to use it. Many people find it helpful.
If there's a way to make rollers easy to keep clean ( without chemical thinners) someone could make money with that invention.

What fresh hell is this?  My newest roller tray came with a liner.  What is that supposed to do?  I can get the tray clean.  It's the roller that drives me nuts.  Why would I bother with thus liner?
