Re: [DIY] LED Flood light.

We have 10 or more led lights and most of them are never turned off.  The current drain is so low that it costs more for the switch and associated wire and other parts then the light will use.  So far there have been no failures but I feel that leaving them on 24/7 may be the reason.  We use these at entrances, stair ways, the main shop area and the bath room.  The ones in the bath are chandelier bulbs and have been on continuously for about 5 years now.  There are also a smattering of night lights as well.  The convenience of being able to walk when and where we wish day or night is really nice.  Haven't jammed my toe on a table leg in years, come to think of it I kind of miss the pain.

Welcome to the world of LED bulb failure.   For all the claims of super long life LED bulbs, I think it is yet to be proven.   I bought three bulbs last year and one failed in 6 months.

Subject: [DIY] LED Flood light.

I have a motion sensing double flood light with LED bulbs.  Recently it has started flashing just the left bulb unit.  I am not sure what to do with it, it is only about 2 ½ years old.  All help would be appreciated.
