Re: [DIY] shed footings

Go to the building department, and ask if they have any guidelines for self-builders. Most of them do. Some will take time to make blueprints.

We are considering a large shed to expand the living space of a trailer.
We estimate the footings to be needed is 20 in number for the size.
I have hunted all over the internet trying to decide if this is better for us to try or bite- $$$--bullet and pay a contractor.
Does anyone have any advice concerning this decision? The shed is 18 by 32 and our building codes are strict.
