Re: [DIY] shed footings

I would get 2-3 contractor bids and have them explain there designs, then
look at the large sheds for sale at Home Depot and compare prices as well
as take pics of the construction used in the HD sheds.

In Calif we can have a 12x12 shed without a permit or code requirements..

I have 12x36...yes///3 legal sheds next to each other!!

Check the details of buy vs code to build and perhaps DIY..they are immensely easy
to construct a quality nice looking shed...there are many [plans on the net or at HD!

For example:

Buy Woodworking Project Paper Plan to Build Shed with Overhead Door at Woodcraft.com

Subject: Re: [DIY] shed footings

We are considering a large shed to expand the living space of a trailer.
We estimate the footings to be needed is 20 in number for the size.
I have hunted all over the internet trying to decide if this is better for us to try or bite- $$$--bullet and pay a contractor.
Does anyone have any advice concerning this decision? The shed is 18 by 32 and our building codes are strict.
