[DIY] Dishwasher not getting hot water [1 Attachment]

I'm getting 120 degrees at the kitchen sink - but only 80-90 in the dishwasher.  Both coming out of the same hot water line.

New dishwasher included sample packets concentrated detergent, they worked fine.  Now the packets won't dissolve - checked online, says water has to be 120 coming in on the first fill.  Stuck my hand in — cool water.  Checked it - 80 degrees.  Only change from the first time we ran it was the plumbers worked on the hot water recirculator.   The kitchen worked, not the bathroom so they cut the kitchen off — fixed the bathroom — then tapped the kitchen back in.   Other than moving the dishwasher back  under the counter this is the only difference between the first load a week ago and now.  This is driving me crazy….. I was concerned about getting enough hot water up to the kitchen for the dishwasher, it requires a minimum of 120, so spent all that money on a hot water recirculator.  Had nothing but problems, now it seems I have another problem.  I checked several times during the cycle always between 80-90 degrees.

Any idea why this is happening or what I can do to check further?  How can it come out of the same line at 120 degrees at the faucet but only 80 degrees into the dishwasher?  Still 120 at the faucet.  Can the few ft of line cause it to cool off that much?
