Subject: [DIY] Plastic stringers?

Looking for ideas for a large exterior shed type door.  The bottom portion is rotted because of water.  I'd like to cut the bottom portion (10-12") and in its place attach some type of plastic material to the bottom that will resist water.  Sturdy yet flexible would be a bonus.

They make a corrugated flexible roof panel that appears to be made out of a thick asphalt type material, we used it to roof my MIL’s deck, found it at lowes, outside the box but it might work.

Any ideas?  I'm not sure that they make lawn edging that tall.  Trying to think outside of the box.  Still interested in ideas even if it isn't plastic.

Unrelated and random question.  Ideas on what to do with fallen acorns?

Fallen Acorns? Deer Food!
