Not familiar with Teflon spray.  What I have is Prestone Silicone Lubricant - High Viscosity formula.  Yellow can with a picture of a lock, hinge and pair of pliers on the front.  No mess, has the little plastic tube you put in the sprayer and it goes directly into the lock, runs a little if you get too much.  We spray, work the lock a few times and spray again so it gets into all the sticky spots.  Not sure where we buy it but probably Wal-Mart or Lowe's.

Thanks, Can you give me an example -would this also be known as Teflon spray? They had one at Orchard last nite but young man thought the Silicon spray would be better choice (but I don't know why). Don't recall the brand, about $5
