Sometimes the state in which you live has the Radon kits available. You order one, follow the instructions, and send it off to the lab. (With some $$ of course.) I wouldn't waste my $$ on hiring anyone to perform the tests for me. (Tried that with home inspectors. Total rip off.) IMHO: Radon is highly over-rated.
