[DIY] Re: Trouble in Paradise

 

Most cities allow a homeowner to get a homeowners permit to work on their own home. They will most likely be very lenient on someone who is not a contractor who should know the requirements. Don't be scared to be up front with the city and don't act as if you had something to hide. If there is something wrong with your work, it's for your benefit to have it corrected.
