[DIY] Trouble in Paradise

 

Hello everyone,

Thank you for allowing me to join. I'm a new home owner by a couple of months and my hubby and I have been enjoying DIY projects all over the house. That is, until a few days ago...

I just found out that several of the projects we are working on in our home require permits. We had no idea and began the work quite awhile ago and have happily been working on it. I don't want to break the law but I also don't want to be slapped with some incredible fine for just being an ignorant 1st time home owner.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I'd be happy to give more details, if needed.
