[DIY] Re: Hot Circuit Breaker

 

One way to verify if the breaker itself is at fault is to swap the wires on this and another breaker of the same size. If it no longer gets hot, but the other one does, it's in the circuit. On the other hand, if the same breaker gets hot with a different wire (circuit) on it, it's the breaker.
