[DIY] Re: I didnt win!!! Back to the hole-y old house

Update: re outdoor pipe sealing. Imchose not forego the expanding foam for several reasons well then reviewed my stock caulk and ound the siliconized acrylic said it was specific for kitchen and bath and plumbing- seemingly indoor, and the other was GE pure silicone and the other acrylic latex, so I chose the silicone. Now I think that was a mistake as the backer rod couldnt fill behind as it would just fall down into the open space vinyl siding, and I now understand the silicone is not UV resisitant and will pull over time. UGGGH! So, Although messy and high in VOC it seems the the foam would have done the trick best, huh?
