This works for mice and rats may be adapted for voles, just use larger traps.
Using regular old snap mouse/rat traps. Get a roll of "Rolos" candy. Divide into 1/4 chunks. Stick the rolo caramel side down on the trap where you normally put the peanut butter/cheeses.
Set trap and place in the area with infestation.
We caught all the mice fast, with in a hour we filled all 4 traps. Reset and the next morning we had caught them all!!
