These 1" brackets (I've found them before on clearance for about $5 each)...

fit 3/4" PVC snugly (make sure you test ahead of time for imperfections).

The brackets are attached via wall anchors (or screws depending on your surface) that come with the brackets.

Brackets can be hung via the wall or ceiling.

Grab some length of PVC,  PVC Caps (for the ends of the PVC rod) and a PVC 90 degree joint (or a couple of 45 degrees if you want to get fancy).

Paint PVC.

Or, it looks like they make self customizing curtain rods with curve tracks available...

We would like to make a space in a room about 60" by 60" in a corner. We were thinking of a curtain that makes a 90 degree bend (although it does not have to be a sharp bend). We are open to other ideas and if we do get a curtain like this, where could we get the curtain and rod and hopefully even make it inexpensively.
