Re: [DIY] Staining a cement floor

Joan,
Our entire house has stained concrete floors. The entire house floor
was poured in one day and it was hand troweled rather than mechanically
smoothed. The hand troweling allows the concrete to pattern differently
and the stain absorbs differently as well. There are swirls etc rather
than one flat color. We used two different colors and collectively
they look great! Not too many contractors are not willing to take the
time to do it by hand. It makes a big difference!
