We need to get some heat in the barn while we work down there. Was hoping to wait till we were further along to install gas logs or another type of permanent heating system - but might have to go ahead and do it now. Any suggestions for interim, portable type of heating? The small portable heaters work OK in the rooms that are partly enclosed but we need something that will at least take the chill off in the bigger, open area. Any suggestions?
Pellet stoves used to be popular around here but don't know anyone who actually had them or if they are cheaper/better than propane. Not sure wood heat is practical in this situation.
