Yes, sometimes it's absolutely worth it just to pay somebody else to do it...Somebody who knows how to do it far better than we do. I'm sure you'll always be glad you went ahead and hired the guy.
Will be a few thousand more than anticipated but he knew solutions for everything we wanted to do. Will end up with what I wanted and be able to add to it in the future. Wasn't cheap but I think it will be well worth the money. Plus, we'll leave the washer/dryer where it is to use for horse towels etc and install the new ones where I originally wanted them. Win-Win for me!
